About the Design
Koalas live in the eucalyptus forests of eastern Australia.
These marsupials are about 60cm-85cm long and weigh about 14kg.
When a joey (an infant koala) is born, it climbs up to its mother’s pouch and develops thre pouch for about six months.
Koala’s can eat up to one kg of eucalyptus leaves in a day, they get almost all their moisture from the leaves they eat. The name koala comes from an Aboriginal* term meaning, ‘no drink/water’.
